What is containerization? What is virtualization? What's the difference?
Containerization is the bundling of an application along with all of its underlying configuration files, libraries, and other dependencies so it can run independent of the computing environment that it is placed in.
The difference between containerization and virtualization is like sending an independent adult with necessary skills to function on their own out into the world vs having a young adult with a helicopter parent who takes care of most of the difficult tasks for them. Sure, they may get the same thing done, but one of them has a lot less overhead.
