CHALLENGE
With information security their top priority, Century Solutions Group uses QuickBooks desktop on premises. For accounts receivable automation, they were settling for the limited features of ConnectBooster to execute billing and invoices because it worked with QuickBooks desktop. Their clients struggled with the system, leading many to avoid using it. Most continued to mail paper checks and make phone calls and send emails to clarify when invoices were due, when payments needed to be made, or which payments had already been made. All of which led to more work and inefficiency for Century Solution Group’s finance team.
“We used ConnectWise Manage for billing and invoices, with a system called Connect Booster, and it really wasn’t fulfilling our needs. A lot of our clients were still doing stuff manually. The system wasn’t intuitive for them, so they were still mailing checks. So that was a big drive to find a better solution.”
SOLUTION
Quadient AR provided the improved user-experience Century Solution Group’s customers needed to embrace an automated process. The platform gives greater visibility and access to reports with information they previously requested from the Century team. The intuitive nature of the platform has also made the online payment process smoother. Most customer communication is now done through the Quadient AR portal, notifying clients of upcoming invoices and missed payments, and fielding client disputes or questions. Everything is logged and tracked in the portal and follow-up is scheduled around it.

With their customers embracing the user-friendly Quadient AR platform, Century Solution Group’s finance team has been able to focus on higher-value, strategic work – better management of their books and combing through data for better forecasting. The organization has experienced a dramatic decrease in manual errors. Prior to implementing Quadient AR, Century Solutions Group struggled to track data quickly and reliably, often piecing together a picture by manually mining information from Excel sheets out of QuickBooks that other payment portals didn’t provide. Now, they have access to important stats like DSO, which they anticipate being critical to their overall financial processes.
