AOT is a decentralized oil operator in Canada and the US. Kim Carr managed an outsourced team for their accounting needs, but with multiple locations and a third party accounting firm demanding insight into their accounts payable, Carr needed to avoid the high cost and complexity that goes hand in hand with sharing PDFs and overnight packages across multiple people in a wide range or roles and locations. Now, Carr has taken the role of Controller at Petro Shale, an oil-weighted development and production company operating in both Canada and the US.
