Official Announcement: New Postage Rates are now in effect

 

Canada Post has announced a new set of postal rate changes that are taking effect now. The price of a domestic stamp will increase by 25 cents, bringing the cost to $1.23*. That’s a 25.5% increase! 

This includes stamps, coils, meter rates, and other services such as Lettermail™, Incentive Lettermail™, Personalized Mail, and Postal Code Targeting.  

The reason? This adjustment is to align stamp prices with the rising costs of providing letter mail services.

For small businesses, we understand that this change may have a significant impact. However, despite these increases, Canada Post remains committed to providing reliable and affordable postal services.  

Permanent™ stamps will continue to be accepted at the current domestic postage price, regardless of future rate increases.
