Important Postage Rate Update For Canada Post
Official Announcement: Proposed Postage Rates for Next Year
Mailers, we understand that the past few weeks have been challenging for you due to the current circumstances. Rest assured, we are here to support you through these tough times and ensure your mailing needs are met efficiently.
Canada Post has announced a new set of postal rate changes that will take effect on January 13, 2025. The price of a domestic stamp will increase by 25 cents, bringing the cost to $1.23*. That’s a 25.5% increase!
This includes stamps, coils, meter rates, and other services such as Lettermail™, Incentive Lettermail™, Personalized Mail, and Postal Code Targeting.
The reason? This adjustment is to align stamp prices with the rising costs of providing letter mail services.

Permanent™ stamps will continue to be accepted at the current domestic postage price, regardless of future rate increases.
